Kerala Vision organized a grand celebratory event titled “Grand Thousand” to mark the company’s annual turnover crossing the ₹1,000 crore milestone. The celebration was held at Taj Vivanta, Kochi, and was inaugurated by Shri P. Rajeeve, Hon’ble Minister for Industries, Government of Kerala.

The event was presided over by Shri Praveen Mohan, State President of the Cable TV Operators Association (COA). A promotional video introducing Kerala Vision’s TSP (Total Solution Provider) concept—offering internet-based services for homes and business establishments under one roof—was launched by Shri K. Madhavan, Country Head, Disney India. The formal announcement of GRANDE 1000 was made by Shri P. P. Suresh Kumar, Managing Director, KCCL. A short film from the anti-drug campaign was released by former MP Shri M. V. Sreyan Kumar, while the logo of Kerala Vision’s upcoming youth-oriented entertainment channel was unveiled by Dr. Murali Thummarukudy.

Kerala Vision traces its roots to the collective strength of more than 6,000 independent cable operators across Kerala. Under the banner of the Cable TV Operators Association, Kerala Communicators Cable Limited (KCCL) was established in 2007, following the unification movement that began in 1996. Today, Kerala Vision stands as the fourth-largest digital cable TV operator in India.

Competing successfully with multinational corporations, Kerala Vision has emerged as the sixth-largest broadband service provider in India and the second-largest rural FTTH broadband provider in the country. Through its KEE OTT platform, which integrates Live TV, leading OTT platforms, and on-demand content into a single application, Kerala Vision has built a strong and comprehensive presence in Kerala’s digital and internet ecosystem.

Kerala Vision’s latest service model positions the company as a Total Solution Provider, delivering broadband and Wi-Fi services for corporate institutions along with electronic security systems, audio-visual solutions, and IT-enabled services under one umbrella. The company is also actively expanding its operations to other states. Public-focused initiatives such as the Nava Kerala Plan and the KVFL Free Scheme, aimed at providing affordable internet access, have already received wide acceptance across Kerala.

The event was attended by several distinguished guests, including Shri T. J. Vinod, MLA; Shri Hibi Eden, MP; Shri R. Sreekandan Nair; Shri Anto Augustine; Shri Sakilan Padmanabhan; Shri P. R. Satheesh; Shri R. Sivakumar; Shri Reji A. C.; Shri Binu Sivadas; Shri K. V. Rajan, and many others. Cable operators, distributors, sub-distributors, and key contributors who played a vital role in achieving the ₹1,000 crore milestone were honored during the ceremony.

Shri K. Govindan, Chairman of Kerala Vision, delivered the welcome address, and Shri P. B. Suresh, General Secretary of COA, proposed the vote of thanks.
