Kerala Vision Presents ₹200 Crore Investment Projects at Invest Kerala Global Summit

At the Invest Kerala Global Summit 2025, held in Kochi on February 21 and 22Kerala Vision announced a ₹200 crore investment plan to accelerate Kerala’s digital and tourism-led growth, supporting the state’s vision of becoming a premier investment destination.

The project reports were formally submitted by Shri P. P. Suresh Kumar, Managing Director, Kerala Vision, and Shri Padmakumar, Chief Operating Officer, Kerala Vision, in the presence of Shri P. Rajeeve, Hon’ble Minister for Industries, Government of KeralaShri A. P. M. Mohammed Hanish, IAS, Principal Secretary, Industries Department, and Shri Santhosh Koshy Thomas, Managing Director, KINFRA.

Kerala Vision’s investment focuses on three key areasrural tourism developmentunderground optical fiber cable projects along National Highways, and strengthening the state’s high-speed fibre optic digital connectivity infrastructure, with an emphasis on last-mile connectivity, bridging the digital divide, and inclusive economic development.

The Village Tourism Development Project aims to transform high-potential rural destinations across Kerala into international-standard tourism hubs, generating employment, improving livelihoods, and enhancing rural quality of life. The Underground Optical Fiber Cable Project proposes extending robust telecom infrastructure along National Highways to rural and remote areas, ensuring affordable high-speed internet access.

The expanded fibre optic backbone will enable digital transformation and citizen-centric services, providing government and public services at citizens’ fingertips and supporting IT, smart governance, e-health, e-education, and digital entrepreneurship.

Aligned with the objectives of the Invest Kerala Global Summit, Kerala Vision’s proposals reinforce Kerala’s position as a future-ready, investment-friendly state, reaffirming the company’s commitment to sustainable development, digital inclusion, rural empowerment, and long-term economic and social progress.
