Kerala Vision, launched under the cooperative model of the Cable TV Operators Association (COA), has emerged as a model for the world, said Shri H. Salam, MLA. At a time of intense competition, Kerala Vision’s growth through cooperation and collective entrepreneurship is exemplary and offers a replicable model for aspiring entrepreneurs, he added.
Shri Salam was inaugurating the 18th Entrepreneurs’ Meet of the Cable TV Operators Association, organised as Vision Summit 2025, held at the Camelot Convention Centre, Alappuzha, on Saturday.
Addressing the summit, Shri K. Govindan, Chairman, Kerala Vision, announced that the organisation is preparing to expand its services to the national level, with West Bengal, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu identified for the first phase of expansion. He also stated that Kerala Vision is entering the Total Solution Provider sector and will be launching new projects worth ₹200 crore.
As part of this expansion, Shri Govindan announced that ICT and IT-enabled services, electronic security systems, building management systems, and audio-visual solutions will be offered under one umbrella, positioning Kerala Vision as a one-stop solution provider for both residential and corporate customers. The Vision Summit served as a platform to deliberate on emerging opportunities in the digital era and to equip entrepreneurs with advanced knowledge and insights.

Kerala Vision’s cooperative model, initiated under the leadership of the association as a response to corporate monopolisation, achieved a business turnover of ₹1,000 crore last year.
At a time when cable TV subscriptions are declining nationwide, Kerala Vision Digital TV remains the only service provider in India recording consistent growth.
With 30 lakh digital cable TV subscribers, Kerala Vision ranks fourth in the country among digital cable service providers. Kerala Vision Broadband, with 13 lakh subscribers, stands fifth nationally. From local clusters to state-level operations, the association brings together hundreds of entrepreneurial collectives, including distribution companies, media organisations, and infrastructure service providers.
